Featuring a super-high resolution of 700 TVL in color mode and using a full-chip 1/3" Sony Ex-View II CCD. This exceptional camera switches from color to black and white in poor lighting conditions, offering superb performance even in near-darkness. You may either use a C or CS-mount lens that you may already have, or select from our menu of new lens options to ensure the perfect picture. Bottom line... this camera can be designed to suit most any surveillance application... either indoor our outdoor if purchased with the optional weatherproof enclosure.
Benefits:
One of our most versatile and highest resolution cameras. Suitable for wide angle or extremely tight angle shots from afar in indoor or outdoor environments (if purchased with optional weatherproof housing) the camera is designed to be dependable and hard-working, regardless of the conditions presented by the environment it’s in. Best applied in large-coverage areas where a super-clear picture is required from a very long distance away, even when lighting conditions may be unpredictable (for instance: to view large parking lots or large fields).
What's so Important about a Full-Chip Sony?
Unlike most other CCTV cameras sold in North America, this camera features full-chip Sony technology... which means that not only do we use the Sony CCD, but we also use the Sony DSP (Digital Signal Processing) chip. As most every other CCTV manufacture pairs a Sony CCD with a generic DSP chip for cost purposes (or worse yet.. does not use a Sony CCD at all), our full-chip Sony CCD cameras provide a sharper, truer-color picture, and should easily out-preform non-full chip CCTV cameras in adverse lighting conditions like glare, direct light, and darkness! Boasting a service life well over 10 years, you should also expect our full-chip CCTV cameras to greatly outlast the competition. Fortunately, given our decade-old buying power... we can typically offer Full Chip Sony CCD cameras at the same price of what others charge for partial-chip Sony CCD cameras for.
When shopping for new CCTV cameras, it's about being practical and buying whats going to work for you in a real-life environment. You want to buy a camera that is going to last for many years, and not be one that will fail just after the warranty period ends. Our cameras are time-tested in real life environments, and not just in a lab with perfect lighting and humidity. By featuring Full-Chip Sony technology in our cameras, we know we're selling cameras that will look good in real life... and not just on a spec sheet. What's the use of buying a high-resolution CCTV camera if it can not see when you really need it to?
