Extremely versatile weather-resistant ball and socket camera design allows for easy installation and camera placement virtually anywhere (upside down, right side up, on an angle, etc.), and is tough-rated as a vandal-resistant camera. Additionally, since the camera is a full chip Sony (meaning every chip in the camera was made by Sony), the camera can be expected to deliver high performance for up to a decade.
We've worked with our manufacturing facilities to bring you even more value for the same price! We've upgraded the camera to provide 700 TV lines of resolution in color and 750 TVL in B&W mode! In addition, we've changed the varifocal lens to a 2.8mm~12mm to give you a much wider selection of zoom capabilities! The new on-screed display allows a full range of camera setting customizations such as backlight compensation (BLC), headlight suppression (HLS), adaptive tone-curve reproduction (ATR), automatic gain control (AGC), digital noise reduction (DNR), digital shutter speed, privacy masks and more!
What's so Important about a Full-Chip Sony?
Unlike most other CCTV cameras sold in North America, this camera features full-chip Sony technology...which means that not only do we use the Sony SuperHAD II 960H CCD, but we also use the
Sony Effio DSP (Digital Signal Processing) chip. As most every other CCTV manufacture pairs a Sony CCD with a generic DSP chip for cost purposes (or worse yet.. does not use a Sony CCD at all), our
full-chip Sony CCD cameras provide a sharper, truer-color picture, and should easily out-preform non-full chip CCTV cameras in adverse lighting conditions like glare, direct light, and darkness! Boasting a service life well over 10 years, you should also expect our full-chip CCTV cameras to greatly outlast the competition. Fortunately, given our decade-old buying power... we can typically offer Full Chip Sony CCD cameras at the same price of what others charge for partial-chip Sony CCD cameras for.
